Are we silently fostering a culture of self-loathing, self-shaming, and inner hatred? Drawing from Douglas Murray's book 'War on the West,' we aim to unravel this phenomenon that is becoming increasingly popular, especially among the youth.

Some of you may have recently seen trending on TikTok or Twitter Letter to America as authored by Osama Bin Laden. It was published by the Observer in 2002 and was recently taken down by the Guardian, just yesterday and what this letter attempts to do is justify 9-11 and a whole bunch of other atrocities that have taken place, and this is Osama Bin Laden doing this. By the way, this is now trending with a certain group of people. These people, I would say, don't really have any depth. They don't have any, I would say, historical knowledge what Sharia law is, or they probably just didn't read the full letter, which is over 4,000 words. And in that same vein, I will say these are most likely the people that when COVID occurred, they are now a virologist. They're the one saying that they know everything about anything. And they're also the people when Russia invaded Ukraine that they're now military experts and coordinators and also have deep historical knowledge on East European affairs and how, I would say, to react to all this is just ignore it. However, when you ignore these things, it's good to the day to day, but this trending does represent something a little more disturbing.

I recently spoke to how Douglas Murray's book War on the West speaks to the degradation of Western values and Western history. I think this is a product of that. I think this is a product of a culture of self-loathing, self-shaming and celebration of those things, and that's why it's popular. I'll just end it here. When you hear the noise of just ignorance and hatred or anything else that seems to be vitriolic and ill thought through, ignore that. Simultaneously, I would love to continually point out and continue to point out the disturbing concerns and consequences of a culture that is self-loathing and self-hating.
